Almost in every Youth Leaders Forum that GMB held, there will be a ‘crying’ session. A session where someone tells a sad story of his/her life and the others will cry. I didn’t get it at the first time. Why did they cry? What life story they told for? My whole life teach me not to show your tears. Because it means weakness. But wait, I do know they are not weak persons. They must be a strong person to be in GMB. They have passed a very difficult selection process and Youth Adventure, a journey that will prove your cleverness and mentality. So what do their tears mean? Oh my God! I just understood what my sensei (teacher in Karate) said to me four years ago, “True power doesn’t come from your fist, but your heart”. By fist, you can defeat your enemies, but you cannot make them your friend. By strength you can move your hand and feet and cause a great damage, but by your heart, you can inspire and move many peoples around you and make a better life. It’s totally right! GMB show me something I cannot understand four years ago. Tears is not always mean a weakness. Sometimes it means you’re a human, you have heart and feeling. You’re strong. You can feel what people feel as well as make peoples feel what you feel. You have friends who will protect and stand with you. Youth Leaders Forum inspires the others. It is like someone tells “Hey, you are not alone! Don’t be sad, we are here with you. Let’s grow up together!”. I’m so lucky and proud to be part of GMB big family.
